Jarrod Spector & Kelli Barrett explore some of music’s greatest marriages during their performance on Valentine’s Day at Wharton Center. From Sonny & Cher to Beyonce & Jay-Z, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil to Alan & Marilyn Bergman. These married Broadway vets attempt to answer the question “What’s it like to be married to a fellow artist?” through songs that have been created out of some of the most iconic musical marriages.

Sonny & Cher were one of the most iconic couples of the 60s and 70s. Though they did eventually split up, they had the perfect working relationship. You and your significant other are partners in everything you do and are connected at the hip. No matter what, you know they’ve got your back!

Through their ups and downs they have made great music together and apart, drawing inspiration from their lives and love. Similarly, you and your significant other have had great times and there have been bad times, but no matter what, your love conquers all.
