We gathered some of the lovely interns of Wharton Center and had them listen to all six of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos in preparation for the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center‘s performance of them at Wharton Center this Thursday!
We split the reactions up into two parts. Here’s what they had to say about the Brandenburg Concertos 1-3… a ball from the 1800s, the holidays, and dancing a jig?
Make sure to check out thoughts about Brandenburg Concertos 4-6 too…leaving a ball with a suitor, and one of our interns thinks it sounds like the Broadway musical, Hamilton:
Want to come to your own conclusion about these terrific works? Don’t forget to get your tickets to this New York holiday tradition! Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will be performing all six Brandenburg Concertos this Thursday, December 8 at 7:30pm. Student tickets are available for $18.
